Knowledgebase Import Knowledge Base Articles from Word Documents

Hello,

We have all of our documentation in MS Word. We would like to be able to convert this from Word to the XML format for KB. We tried a simple cut and paste and this worked well for everything except the pictures.

We would like to keep using word for various reasons, but would like to know if anyone has a script or progam that we could run to convert the Word doc, or alternatively how we might be able to have the pictures in the Word doc come into the edit window of the Article setup in KB.

You would need to do the pictures manually unfortunatly. I can see no way you could do it automatically.

It would be nice if we could create word documents and then import these into Kayako as Knowledge Base articles. Of cause this would only be possible with Office 2007 format with this being XML.

We have much the same problem, we have vast amounts of documentation in Word Documents and moving it across (especially for the pictures) is a pain.

Even going forward the ability to put the pictures directly into the interface rather than having to upload them separately would be a huge help.
