Impove Editor- make it easier to copy and and paste text - 31-05-2008, 04:59 PM

We are adding many training tutorials via knowledge base and news.
The editor only works if we MANUALLY type the text and edit it using the the editor itself. It screwed up the formatted text we copied from word or html, and it's so difficult to go through and edit the font type, font size after we pasted it in the editor What a frustrated experience! There are many good free editors out there please consider a better one. It's one of the key features, in my opinion.

Thanks,
NT

One of the reasons I said Kayako should use DevEdit. It allows seamless pasting from Word, etc.

See UI -> Editor -> Suggestion to use DevEdit

Hi there,

We will be improving the rich text editor considerably, using TinyMce.

TinyMCE is as bad as the current one for pasting stuff from programs like Word.
