Improve Categories, Articles and User interaction - 10-04-2008, 09:05 PM

The Knowledgebase requires:

1. The ability to move Categories (up, down, in, out)
2. The ability to move Articles (up, down and to different Categories)
3. The ability for Users to add an Article (with moderation of course)

These would add significant benefit in allowing far greater User interaction in the Knowledgebase, hence add community value.

An example is this forum could then be hosted in the Knowledgebase rather than a separate application.

regards

You can move articles to different categories by selecting a different category while editing them
And by Users do you mean customers? Cause I don't think our customers would spend their time writing articles for our services (they hardly even use the support center, just call most of the time)

1. We do not offer phone support hence the greater use of web/email communication. Our customers often contribute to articles.

2. Agreed, the ability to move Articles to different Categories is there, but the up, down is challenging
