Ticket Alerts for groups only - 23-07-2008, 04:26 PM

I'd like to send all ticket alerts along the entire ticket system to all the people in a specific group.

"Select the scope of the alert. If the alert is "Public," it will be sent to all staff users. If it is "Private," it will only be sent to the staff user who created it."

Seems to be the only option I'm given. It just so happens that one of the groups is "Staff", so if i put all the people that shouldn't get alerts in a group other than Staff, will they not get it? or is "staff users" just a general term?

Looks like it's not possible with the current version, perhaps this should be moved to feature requests?

You are correct; it is currently an 'all' or 'you' scope alert system. I have moved this to the feature requests forum.
