Ticket searching.. - 10-04-2008, 12:05 AM

is it possible to allow users who are not apart of the department where the ticket resides on to be able to lookup the ticket? Well not view/add etc to the ticekt but maybe know that the ticket exists and its current status?

This is very confusing for my staff as when customers call up they are unable to see if the ticket exists.. ?

Yes,

I have this same problem, would like the option to allow groups or users to be able to search tickets from other groups they are not apart of.

I have a crude work around and its a pain in the butt.

But I have allowed all users to be in all groups, this makes the tickets searchable by all users. but the downside is that any user can go into any group and close/answer/etc... to any ticket.

This would be a great request fro Version 4
