Ticket Status Per Deperment - 27-02-2008, 11:27 PM

Hello,

That would be nice, if there could be away to assign ticket status on a per department basis.

For technical support there could be numerous status where as for the sales or billing department, just a few.

Making ticket status global makes it a more cluttered help desk.

Any views?

This is already possible, under the properties of the statuses (admincp -> Tickets -> Manage Statuses)

Current implementation doesn't allow the same Status in Multiple Departments - 28-04-2008, 09:19 AM

The current implementation that allows you to limit which department a status is shown in limits a Status (IE: Open) so either it has to be shown in all departments or only one. We would like to be able to use a Status in multiple departments, but not all.

I agree!

I need this feature too.

This should be like the "Ticket Status Association" in:

Admin CP >> Tickets >> Service Level Agreements >> Edit

Where is used a selection box for choose multiple options.

This makes more sense.
