I want to make a feature request for Esupport/Support Suite.
I just got off of a chat with Kayako. I asked if there was a way to see a listing of, or view all the KB articles ID's in one place. I was told no.
What I am in the process of doing is making a excel record of all my KB articles for reference. I was wanting to record the KB titles and article ID's. If I go to the staff control panel and click on the KB section and then click on Manage Articles, I see the master list of articles which shows the name, date created, status, rating and views. I want to see the article ID displayed here to. Or at least the option to display whichever categories I would like.
Am I mistaken in thinking that a customer could technically search for a KB article by its ID, whether it is the sequential type (1,2,3... or the random aw8 34g...)
I see having the article ID as being a useful reference point for articles. In a previous job I used to use and/or remember article #'s when I couldn't necessarily remember the article title.
I realize that if I click on an article (only in the customer interface) I can see that article ID, but why does it not even list the article ID anywhere in the staff control panel even when you have a KB article open to edit it?
