Even still - just installed that build of Kayako Mobile & I can't find the sync on startup option, unless I am completely missing something.

I just looked at the latests release, and cant find the automatic sync in the application.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

Sorry for the confusion guys. The sync on startup feature was only added to the "new ticket" branch of the app, and thus is only available in the 3.1.3.7 (alpha) version.

This version will work correctly with 3.20.03 stable server software, but does not yet have the capability to do Custom Fields.
