Sync when updating ticket - 13-09-2007, 12:59 PM

It would be very beneficial that when you update a ticket that it will automatically sync. Right now, if you udpdate any ticket(s) and do not sync, none of the changes will appear for others to see and the time stamps will be the time the sync took place, not when the ticket was actually updated.

As in the other thread, I totally back this.

I can imagine it would be easy to forget to sync a ticket at all leaving it waiting without this feature.

It should, however, be able to be disabled or only be performed if a network connection is detected - an active one.

Part of the problem with this is I do a fair amount of ticket based work on my PDA and will soon be moving everything over to my new phone running WM6, which when roaming on another network & using GPRS would cost me an absolute fortune - so I'd like the ability for it to only be performed when a connection is present & not attempt to connect for itself?

Either that or something to completely disable the functionality.

Well two options then. One saying auto sync after ticket update and another saying only when internet connection is active.
