Big company, little problem... - 23-03-2009, 09:13 PM

Hi all,

My company just recently purchased the owned copy of SupportSuite and prior to this we were using an old trial version which had expired.

Although it expired we still had data in it that we'd like to preserve but we want to upgrade to the latest build.

So my questions is this:

How do we install the new version of SupportSuite to upgrade? Do we just overwrite all the existing files and re-run the setup script?

Hi itdude86,

This is correct. After overwriting the existing files and running the Upgrade script, you would also need to search for templates which are marked as 'Revert Required'. This is all explained in the user manual: User manuals - Kayako support desk software
