How can I charge a client for online chat - 06-05-2008, 03:27 PM

One question

Can I make a online Support Department that charges my client for online support?
To do so I need to make sure that those who come online our my present clients who need some more support.
Can I put more fields for one online support department for chat?

well not sure how to achieve this

There are a few pay per support modules in developments, but these are only for tickets.

thanks right now I am using a time tracking software it would be good if we could track time in tickets automatically. can you direct me to the mods?
Can I use them or should i wait?

Well there are 3 :-
- One from SoftAir (New Pay Per Ticket Module progress report) but their staff have now left and development appears to of stopped.
- One from SupportMods (Supportmods.com) but slow answers to questions have people concerned.
- One from another developer who will post here shortly.

I never pay 150 dollars for that mod supportmod.com

they are simply overcharging.

I am right now using slimtimer for tracking my time which is free
I think there should be a timer or some thing in our support software and a little work
would make it OK

Well even that mod won't allow what you want as it only tracks tickets, not support chats. You would need to suggest it as a feature if you wanted to buy.

I would not consider $150 expensive for the amount of code that goes into such a module.
