Hi to all, I'm trying to instal version 3.11.10 of SupportSuite. 90% is ok, the last step is email receiving. BUT my provider does not ... provide me email piping neither IMAP support PHP 5. Kayako support does not provide me a solution .... my provider also. I found a possibile solution using pop2pipe script for emulate piping via a perl script as described here: Email account polling software The charge is very little (4,95 $) but I would like to know if someone had used (with success) this piece of software or this is not a good solution. Any advice ? Thank you in advance !! glfp |

I do not think this will actually work.

Do you have root access to your server? The script requires you to install Perl library on your server.

Hi, thank you for your response.... As you can see here, the test said I have the POP:NET library for perl ( why my provider release POP support for perl but not for PHP !!???!!) .. and the pop2pipe.cgi could stay in the same location. After I need to trig on a cron on this cgi. The only thing I don't understand is how to link SupportSuite to this piping ... the instructions said: "Assign the mail processing program name to the $pipe variable (line 17)." but then the manual refeer to : "If it is a Perl script, on a Windows web server you may need to add name of the Perl executable in front of the program name, for example 'perl mailbox.cgi' instead of 'mailbox.cgi'. Special note for Trouble Ticket Express users: you should execute the mailbox.cgi with an -s option, that is 'mailbox.cgi -s' or 'perl mailbox.cgi -s' on Windows servers." Please ... help me !! Many many Thanks ! glfp |
