I can't imagine Kayako would not at least be open to the idea of making an iPhone version of their web support ticketing panel.
The current web interface does work on the iPhone; for such a small user base it would not be sensible to engineer a staff user's web interface just for the iPhone. I am not saying it will not come about - maybe the user base will grow or one of us (or a community member) may take up designing an interface as a pet project.

Officially, until there is sufficient demand for a glossed iPhone interface we won't be implementing one and instead continuing to develop the current PDA interface.

Ok.. great. I'm glad to here Kakayo is open. I agree with waiting for demand to increase to where it's worth the resource you would have to allocate.

Digital Mayham consider me for beta testing if you decide to take the leap forward with KayakoMobile for the iPhone.

Honestly, I don't see how you can argue with the macs compared to a pc. Better power management, better resource allocation, and its BSD based. I use linux on my desktop, but for a laptop, you can't beat a mac.

Thumbs up 12-05-2008, 03:43 PM

I for one would like an iPhone Kayako interface. Here are some of my reasons.

1- iPhone SDK is now available
2- iPhone 2.0 will have exchange functionality
3- Being the first to offer an iPhone interface I think is a good thing.
4- 3G is on the way
5- all the features that are missing on the iPhone someone will make with the SDK now available.

I know that some of you are die hard MS fans and kudos to you for buying a Zune, but some of us would still like an iPhone interface.

Not everyone has to agree they like Apple/iPod/iTunes/iPhone/etc... but its the faster selling handset in the US and is about to be released on a ton of foreign carriers in June.

Something to think about.

I have both the iPhone and a Blackberry, and I think I am going to stick with the iPhone.

Other request for the iPhone:
V4 Future Request: iPhone View

Thanks,
--Phill
