Softair Again - 15-09-2007, 07:15 PM

Hey JC, why don't you check your email like a normal person? Stop running all through this Kayako garbage. I have emailed you 15 times and get no response other than your same old reply I get every three days.

This is the third time your firm has been unable to communicate. Unacceptable. Amazing how much time I have wasted.

It appears more and more people are getting annoyed with SoftAir. Over the past few months I have read a number of posts + talked to a number of people who have mentioned them. It is a shame as they are the only company who does Kayako custom coding really.

Well as one of the people Craig speaks of, I noticed that their email system is not parsing emails sent to softair. I find that if you log into softair support system and post a reply to the ticket you will get a faster response. Give that a shot and see if you can get a faster reply.

Softair LTDA is gone.....

All the staff left, just Juan C. Rodriguez is there. He is a manager, not a programmer.

Last thing we heard about them was March 2008 when he e-mailed as a response to my ticket :

""We should be able to resume normal operations as early as Tuesday""

He did not say which Tuesday in what month or year....

So it's better not to start any projects with Softair I surpose....

I've noticed that a lot of the great programmers Softair had, have formed DEWAK.com.

Softair is indeed done...however all of the members that have left have formed a new company and are providing mods for kayako. You can get support for softair mods (for a fee) as well as new mods at:

Wait, Dewak staff are the old staff from SoftAir? Didn't realise that.

Ok so they cosed Softair and moved to another location?

I hate softare companies - not ven mass email that they were closing?

I guess that is what I get for having mod done that might break ....

Is this Dewak company any good?

Hi Brent,

Do a search on the forum for "Dewak" - you'll find a lot of information and the answer to your question.
