SoftAir does it again!

I just wanted to show everyone what SoftAir (www.softairltda.com) did for me. They completely customized my Kayako SupportSuite and Live Response to match the look of my website:

It may look simpler than some other customizations, but that's what I wanted. Just to change the colors, design new wigets, design new graphic for "online" and "offline" for Live Response, and also re-designed the LiveResponse Chat window with my logo and colors. They also designed extra wigets for me which I use on another page:

Thanks to all at SoftAir.... Juan, Felipe, Esteban, Juss, etc.... you guys do awesome work and for a great price. Your hard work is also appreciated.... I know you guys often stay at the office very, VERY late to get jobs done, and I really appreciate that. A++

I tried SoftAir too, but was very disappointed. All they did was using icons created by other people (existing icon libaries). I even wonder if they paid for them. The work they did for me was very unsatisfying. After some mail discussion I decided to just pay them and go with another company.

I am very suprised however that they have added our existing logo to their website, making it look like they created it. I think this is a very bad practice, taking credit for and earning from other peoples work.

I am sure Soft Air is capable of doing some design work, but in my opinion they aren't fair at all. If you hire this company, please check the work they done against existing icon libaries and let them sign something that you are sure that the copyright of the images belongs to you.

What other company did you find? I contact them before, a little to high to get header and fotter on the same page.

We do not add logos, you were referenced in our portfolio and you will be removed as you wish.

Soft Air adheres to strict copyright practices, after all we are design and code creators too, all of our clients are free to inquire about copyrights anytime

Xolphin... your approach here doesn't make sense to me. When you hire SoftAir to do custom design work for you, they will work with you until your customization looks exactly how you want it to look. If there's something you're unhappy with, TELL THEM and they will make changes accordingly. You can't just give them an order, expect them to run with it, and then HOPE they build what you want. Communication is key here.... you must be involved with the process, and describe to them what you're looking for. It's typically an iterative process.... they'll create a preliminary design and show you how they're making out. If there's something you don't like, you explain it to them, and they'll make appropriate changes.

I've had SoftAir do a few projects for me, and I was extremely pleased every time. I just can't imagine why someone would NOT be pleased with them... unless they weren't that involved as part of the design process, and were therefore surprised by the outcome. But even then, all it takes is for you to communicate your concerns to them, and they will make the necessary changes.

I have never found a design company so willing to work at jobs and get them right, and provide MSN contact information for open dialog, at this price point. Very affordable, and the value you get for your dollar is top notch.

I am sorry your experience with them wasn't as good as my experiences have been.... but this is the first negative comment I've seen about SoftAir, and I can't help but wonder if it's simply because you didn't communicate enough (or effectively) with them.

I have used Soft Air service in the past and in the present time, I am very happy for the services I am getting from them, they havd done a lot of work for me and I am 110% sure that I will get the same level
of service and expertise with Soft Air, perhaps you did not communicate well enough, just my opinion

Nobody can please everybody. Xolphin shouldn't have accused SoftAir of stealing copyrighted icons, but he is perfectly entitled to his opinion. That said, I, too, feel that SoftAir does excellent work and has a rock solid organization. Their internal communication is handled very well, making the job process very smooth. Communication with clients is also very good; tickets never go unanswered for very long.

I know this thread must be getting boring now but I can't believe that anyone could be unhappy with SoftAir. I have had various work including customisation done by them and they are only ever too willing to make changes I have asked for and respond to my requests. Their work is 1st class.
