Supportmods.com - 14-01-2008, 08:47 AM

Anyone know anything about supportmods.com?

We ordered a copy of ticketpay for kayako a week ago. After a few days we started to chase, and they said that they were waiting for phpaudit to be available and that we would have it the next day (the next day being thursday). Despite some more emails we still haven't seen our ticketpay software and there is nothing on their site about any delays.

Is this a real company? Can anyone vouch for them at all?

If I don't see any response today I'm going to report it to my credit card company, but I thought I would ask the community if they have any comments first.

Olly

This isn't really the place to post this. One of the moderators will move it when they come online anyway.

It is in fact a real company. I have Tesha (owner) on my messenger and she runs a few other businesses including Order Guru - a windows based tool for managing orders from your online store.

Ticket Pay is taking slightly longer than they would of hoped to develop but it is still in progress.

Hi Oliver,

Even though supportmods.com is allowed to advertise here, this is not the forum to raise complaints with them etc.

If you continue to experience problems after buying something advertised in the marketplace, feel free to contact me by e-mail (address in signature).

Thanks,

Do people get banned from posting here if they have been reported like?

Yeah, i appreciate its not the forum for complaints, but as so many people here suggest it as a solution I was hopeful someone had some comments.

If you have any sway with them, then asking them to speed up our delivery or even advertising the delay BEFORE you order would be great

Thanks again, and sorry for any hassle.

There isn't a written rule, but common sense applies - if someone is not providing a service yet advertising one in the Marketplace, likely their advert will be removed and they won't be allowed to post another again.

I have linked to this thread at the start of the TicketPay thread in red writing, and added a link to the end as well.

Well I paid for this module way back in November with many promises of delivery but have yet to see anything. Updates would really be appreciated as I know Andy from PHPaudit is not that busy and should have completed this work a long time ago.

Remember, if you paid on credit card (Visa and Mastercard anyway) you have two years to initiate a chargeback so no need to worry.

Ah right, I see.

Well I don't think Tesha is somebody who would take your money and run, its just he gives estimates sooner than can be actually met.

Which, if you are taking money from people and not returning their emails, calls, support tickets, is pretty clearly unlawful, certainly in the UK. He may have the best heart in the world, but he's advertising (and taking money for) a product that he has no intention of supplying to people and provide absolutely no feedback.

If anyone gets this thread on google or searching the forums, DO NOT pay for the TicketPay service unless you have confirmation from the users that the service has been released.

Has anyone actually received the product yet?
