Developer for MS SQL LoginShare module - 04-12-2006, 11:41 PM

Hello,

I'm looking for a LoginShare module or a developer for a LoginShare module to access an existing customer database on MS SQL 2000/2005.

Thanks,
-e

I'm not sure if this would work for you but I wrote a small application to export users from our existing SQL Server database into the Kayako MySQL database in conjuction with using the LDAP login module... but any login module should work.

The program is scheduled to run every night and sync all of the users in case of any new users / changes in data.

Again not sure if something like this would work for you, but you may want to consider it instead of developing a login module.

This is not a good solution, it's more a "workaround". And I guess developing a loginshare, takes about the same amount of time as this db-sync suggestion.

Maybe softair can help you ?

Good for you! It takes about two hours to develop a loginshare as well. And that's a better solution than a db-sync.

Well I don't know how you can make a statement like that, not knowing our environment, it makes more sense for us to do a daily sync than to have the user hit the remote database every time they log in. We still use a loginshare module.. one already provided... just update it's data daily.

Mirek

PS

It would take me a month to write a loginshare module in PHP (I don't know PHP )
