| New Member Posts: 2 Join Date: Jan 2008 SupportSuite Owned License | Hello Everyone, We are happy "owned" customers of Kayako Support Suite. It is fast. It is coded well and easy to modify. It meets our needs almost 100%, except for the included billing system. Our company offers programming and support services to our customers, based on pre-payment, and the default billing system in Kayako did not meet our needs for this. Mark, our Programming Manager, wrote a set of custom scripts for billing. He has named it " MySiteGroup Billing Mod" It includes both the support staff side of the billing system, and the ability for users to check their billing from their login. It also supports billing statements, both for the customer, and for the staff (things like who owes money, who has credit available, and so on). Payments made via PayPal (and optionally other payment processors) can be automatically applied to customers billing. It also supports "pre-payment" by customers, if desired, as this is our billing model. However, you could use it for many different services, pre-paid or not. And if you need it customized for your needs, we can assist you with that. The MySiteGroup Billing modification for Kayako is fast and easy to use. If you are interested in such an existing solution (we are using it now), please contact us at support@mysitegroup.com We do not know the pricing for the modification at this time, but we can discuss this further to come up with something reasonable. Below are screen shots, with explanations, of the MySiteGroup Billing Mod. For more information, please email support@mysitegroup.com Some screens are proprietary, so they were not included below. Also, emails and other information were masked out.. of course, on your site, this information would show. We can modify our existing code in any way needed to meet your needs, including support for automatic posting of payments from any payment processor. On to the screen shots.... First, the staff side. In the ticket, there is a link to enter billing information: ![]() After click on that, you can see the billing entry page for that ticket. ![]() You can enter in a note, the rate (which is remembered for future entries), and your billing either by hours, minutes, or a set amount. ![]() Here is a screen shot with the billing entry applied. ![]() You may notice, you can move billing entries from one ticket, to another, if needed. You can do negative entries for payments or credits, or pre-payment. You can do a billing report for this customer. ![]() and the details are expandable and collapsible via the [+] ![]() Need to know what your status is with all your customers? How much you owe them or they owe you?
