Dear forum members, I would like to announce that we have recently released a LoginShare add-on module for Kayako SupportSuite and Kayako Esupport. The LoginShare module will share your clients' WHMCS (WHMCompleteSolution) login with your Kayako installation. Here's how it works: When a client logs in on Kayako with his WHMCS email address and password, Kayako will simply process the login so that the client can submit/read tickets, etc. Also, Kayako will automatically login the client in WHMCS! If he uses a non-WHMCS email address and password to login, Kayako will simply check its own database to perform a regular login. The other way around works too: When the client logs in on WHMCS, he'll automatically be logged in on Kayako. This LoginShare module works the same when it comes to logging out. The client only has to logout on either WHMCS or Kayako, and he'll be logged out on both automatically. This guarantees a FULL synchronization/integration between WHMCS and Kayako. Your clients will see your WHMCS and Kayako installation as one single software package. All this happens in one single Kayako LoginShare module. There are no other modifications required. Simply install, configure and load the LoginShare module and you'll be up and running. This LoginShare module is donationware and costs €5.00. This includes free support and lifetime upgrades. There are no recurring costs. The module is encoded with Ioncube. This is necessary because the module contains the WHMCS encryption key used to decode the WHMCS passwords. Since you have Ioncube installed to run WHMCS, this shouldn't be a problem. ![]() If you have any further questions, please contact us via the form on our website: www.explovision.net I hope you'll enjoy this module! |

That is correct twhiting9275 The advantages are to be able to link back and forth from WHMCS and Kayako while only logging in once. Atleast that is the only advantage I see with this. It's better than nothing, but I'm still holding my breathe for Kayako to release the integration module. |

I think the loginshare you are referring to does not keep you logged in both ways. -------------------------------------------------------------------

Ideally, the client shouldn't need to go to a separate page for "support" from billing, and shouldn't really have to share logins with two apps. | |

Hello twhiting9275, This LoginShare will share the WHMCS login and session (login status of a user) with Kayako. As hbidad said, this is very useful in case you want to integrate both Kayako and WHMCS in one design (by simply editting the templates). You can then link certain features to WHMCS and certain features to Kayako to make it seem as if you're using one single software package. This isn't an integration, this is a single file solution without any other form of hacks. That is what makes this LoginShare module special. Pulling tickets from a database has nothing to do with LoginShare, but with fully integrating Kayako into WHMCS. Hello MACscr, I'm sorry for the delay, apparently I'm not getting notifications when people make a new repy (I'll have to check that setting). Users that exist in the Kayako database but do not exist in the WHMCS database can simply login to Kayako but they won't get logged in on WHMCS. I added that feature so that a company can also handle pre-sales tickets. Such users are no customers and do not require a WHMCS login. Generating a WHMCS account for each and every person who contacts your pre-sales department wouldn't be an ideal solution. Also, Kayako often doesn't have enough information of that person (such as full address and telephone details) to add a WHMCS account. Best regards, Josh |

It's a nice piece of kit if you just want the loginshare like I do. The only problem I'm having at the moment is with MySQL, it won't let me connect to the database on my billing / WHMCS server. Any thoughts on that issue? |
