3.10 first impressions

I've installed 3.10. The installation was flawless and all seems to be working acceptably well. We are, however, disappointed with the changes. So far, respectfully, all I've 'uncovered' from a features standpoint is the date format option. I'm sure there are others, but there is nothing 'off the page' different. Ah yes, I did see the schedule workaround where long events are split up over each hour segment. Makes the calendar look really messy if you use it in a real world environment. I'm also personally disappointed that my own little suggestion, made several months ago, to allow us to place the 'notes' within the thread, was not adopted. So, in conclusion, no problems updating - that's great - but not sure why it took so long to get here.

This release was primarily a bug fix release and a lot of bugs were fixed. It also includes things such as a new AJAX chat interface for visitors and rewritten ticket lock handling. Whilst there may not be anything huge that you can see immediately, it certainly fixes a lot of annoying bugs and makes improvements to many things.
