All,

I posted the following in another thread earlier this month, but got no feedback so I am reposting here.

File(s) that we attach to client replies no longer get sent to the client. They do, however, get added to the database and are viewable in the ticket view. The failure is not related to the size of the attachment: attachments as small as 9 KB do not get sent to the client.

We did not have this problem in the previous version of SupportSuite we were using; the problem seems to have come up sometime after we upgraded to 3.04.10. We don't send that many attachments, so it is not clear exactly when this problem started (other than we did not have a problem in the STABLE version previous to v3.04.10).

Does anyone else have this problem, and, if yes, have a workaround?

Our environment is:

SupportSuite: v3.04.10
PhP: 4.4.5
Zend: v1.3.0
MySQL: mysql-standard-5.0.24-solaris9-sparc-64bit
OS: Sun Solaris SPARC 2.9 (fully patched)

Cheers,

Tom

Attachments are working for us, though we see some failures related to file TYPE which originate outside Kayako. This was resolved by archiving the file before sending (CHM file for example).

Sorry I can't offer anything to help with the server settings, I only had to increase the max upload size to 30 MB and the system worked for us on Plesk driven RHEL 4 system.

Attachment only working as Mail attachment - 09-03-2007, 01:34 PM

Hi I have the owned Kayako Suite working on a Windows Server 2003 with AD integration.

We are using 3.04.10. If I try to add a attachment (less than a MB) using the web frontende Kayako Support Center, it posts the ticket, but the attachment does not show up in the staff area. If I send an attachment using a mailclient to the system, it works fine. Any ideas?
