How to disable IP address checking in eSupport? - 08-07-2007, 09:46 AM

My Internet Provider is using a custom HTTP proxy that mess-up the IP Adress validation at authentication time for eSupport (I am re-asked to login constantly). I am using the hosted version of eSpport.

How do I disable IP address checking?

Open up config/config.php and find:
PHP Code:
$_SWIFT["disablesessionipcheck"] = false
Replace it with:
PHP Code:
$_SWIFT["disablesessionipcheck"] = true

Thank you very much for the information. Yet, I am using the hosted version of Kayako, thus I do not have any FTP access.

I will try to contact the support staff.

I don't think support are able to modify the files either. Could be wrong though.

Support can make changes and fixes like this on the hosted accounts.
