The infraction system is a feature of the forum that allows us to exercise forum moderation and maintain the forum rules in a fair and quick way (fair because it is systematic, the same for all and quick because the infractions are predefined).

When you receive an infraction, you will receive a Private Message and a thread for discussion of the infraction will be opened in the Forum Helpdesk that only you and forum staff can see.

Please note that infractions not intended to be a punishment, but are simply a quicker way to notify members about offending posts and why they offend - all in an effort to keep the forum a friendly and tidy place to be!


Can other people see my infractions?:
No - only you and forum staff can see your infractions.

Where can I view my infractions?:
In your user profile.

What can I do to remove the infraction?:
Depending on an infraction's severity, it will automatically expire after a given time.

What infractions are available?:
This list is not published as it changes frequently.

What can I do to avoid receiving an infraction?:
Ensure you post within the forum rules and guidelines. If you are new to the forum, this thread makes recommended reading.
