New hotfix website - 05-12-2007, 02:37 PM

We have launched the new hotfix website; an in-house development that integrates with the upcoming Kayako Software Update; software that will automatically manage your Kayako software updates on your desktop.

Looking very good Jamie. It is much better than just using apache file lists.

You need to unbundle these from the members area though as a 30mb download just to update the php core is a bit excessive.

I cannot agree more! I put this across to Varun and he said they shall have it organized with v4 release.

Yea. It is benificial for Kayako to do too as it will reduce load on the members area server if people are only downloading what they need rather than everything regardless.

We'll be doing it soon, for Version 3. It is integrated into our build system so will take some time.

It really does make sense for Kayako too. I recon 80% won't need the apps in the package so all that bandwidth and server capacity they can save!
