PayPal via the Members Area

Hello,

As you accept PayPal, I think you should add it as a payment method to the members area or maybe a payment method once a customer has had his account verified if fraud protection is the idea (ie for additional purchases).

It is annoying having to contact you manually for this in my opinion.

Also wish the unlimited licences of the paid windows applications would move a bit faster! Oh and the yearly licence renewal aswell as the 6 month one.

If they are worried about Fraud they could easily go into paypal and set it to only accept payment from Verified Paypal Accounts... I too agree this should be an option in the Members Area.

I also think that Accounts should be activated immediately and not having to wait 1 day too 3 weeks for it to be manually activated.

I don't totally agree with that. I understand that Kayako do the manual activations for fraud purposes. I think insted of manually doing the manual activations, they should use http://www.varilogix.com/ as it would allow instant activations and not cost as much as the Kayako staff manually calling customers.

yes I use varilogix.com I am actually friends with James the owner and they should put that in there to allow for immediate activation.

I even made the suggestion to Kayako that if they are worried about Fraud then when someone places an order give them a temp key that is only good for 2 weeks while you manually verified the account then you send them their perm key. But they replied stating that its to confusing for the clients as they dont know which key to upload and which one not too... I dont find it that confusing.. Its just as confusing for leased customers who have to upload a new key every month... So then I replied saying fine then should be done like modernbill where you dont upload a key... It just automaticly checks in with their license servers every so often to see if the license is valid and automaticly updates the license... This kind of setup would work great for Kayako... Instead of people having to be forced to wait days if not weeks for the account to be activated so they can even download and start to use their service.

Fraud call for the order activation. If the fraud call fails, put the order in a queue for manual activation by the staff.

I agree tho, the keys are just stupid. Would make miles more sense to use an automatic check tool that communicates with the Kayako server.

hmm... I just requested this today. Nearly 1 year, and still no Paypal option in Member Area
