Please, update without break... - 20-08-2007, 05:35 AM

sorry for my english, is poor.

my sugestion is: when release a new update (SupportSuite), please dont break some functions.

everytime I do a upgrade, somethins are fixed and others things that worked in past, start to not work.

why this always happens ?

code without control ? no testing ? no control quality ?

now with latest build of supportsuite, things like massive ticket delete stop work. - work before upgrade. incredible.

every update is big surprise!

"build XX.XX.XX - new cool features! fixed things! new bugs!"

this is not a toy.

Im leaving this software, I have a owned license, I lost time and money, SupportSuite is a BugSuite.

I have worked with Kayako for two years now and I am impressed that over the past year they have ironed out the majority of bugs.

All releases are tested by the developer who makes the changes to fix bugs / implement features. They are then tested by either Ryan or Jamie and then by the testers team which I am part of. This helps to ensure any bug(s) that may of developed get ironed out.

What version did you upgrade to? 3.11.01?

Also, did you run the /setup/ upgrade script after uploading the files?

Hi there mindnetcom,

I am sorry to hear you are not pleased with the software.

The builds between 3.10.00 and now have had few features added; the builds since then brought 100s of bug fixes leading to our 3.11.01 build which is the most stable build we have had to date.

The 3.11.01 has also been the most thoroughly tested build, with our testers team now more active and a new Q&A procedure in place.

If you would like me to help you address any issues you are having then please e-mail me and I will be more than happy to assist you.

I agree, Kayako has done a reasonably good job with the released and a fantastic job with the bug fixes!

Just look at http://bugs.kayako.com/ for proof of all bugs that have been fixed.
