Stability of latest 3.11 - 22-08-2007, 02:07 AM

I just wanted others to know that the latest 3.11 of SupportSuite has got to be the most stable release I have seen to date from Kayako.
Periodic crashes and a long list of little annoyances have gone away since we updating from 3.10 to 3.11.

Keep up the good work Kayako... you finally have a software build to be proud of.

Doug

Hi Doug,

Many thanks for the testimonial We understand we still have some way to go down the road to perfection, but I do believe we are completely on track and gaining momentum and improvements every step of the way.

Yea, still just over 2 pages of bugs to fix on the bug tracker and all! lol

Compared to the number fixed tho, this is small. A few will be things will be non-bugs and dublicates anyway.

I put build 11 on a staging site in early August and so far I am quite happy with it. I am likely to go live with this build sometime in September. I welcome the changes made between build 10 and build 11.

Jamie, it would have been even better if the *.chm manual was updated and made available for download at the time when you announced build 11 is out.

Thank you for your hard work, Kayako.

I don't think anything has changed to constitute a manual update. 3.10.x -> 3.11.x was mainly bug fix.

Hi Hristo,

The current user manual is slightly behind the build 3.11.00. However, nothing major has changed that will lead to confusion. I'll try update the manual as soon as possible; at the moment I cam working on other documentation related projects.

I agree. 3.11.01 seems to be running very well for me. I had a couple of functionality problems that support quickly pointed out for me when it was first released. One was with templates and the other with the additional php module that is now required. After those two changes, it's running quite well.

Yep, same for me netFusion. Kayako are doing a really good job of crunching the bugs these days.
