Hi,
We are getting emails from our Kayako install to say that a new support request has been added. There is text in the email which isnt shown in the kayako web page entry for the request.
In the email we have....
SMTP Server <mx6.uk.tiscali.com> rejected recipient
<user.name@tiscali.co.uk> (Error following RCPT command). It
responded as follows: [550 RCPT TO:<user.name@tiscali.co.uk> User
unknown]
But in the web page for the support request we see....
SMTP Server rejected recipient
(Error following RCPT command). It
responded as follows: [550 RCPT TO: User
unknown]
Note how anything with the < > is removed. Now, i can understand that kayako may be using the <> characters as the start of HTML tags, but to assume ANYTHING between <> is html and thus remove it is massive over kill, particularly for an IT support desk where lots of automated emails include <> characters.
IS there a setting that we can use to disable this characteristic ?
