3.11.00 login issue - 31-07-2007, 04:10 PM

Hi All,

It's seems like I'm keep doing some mistake somewhere. I've installed the new stable build in my testing directory "dev" on the same server where I have "live" 3.10.00 version.

There were no problem during upgrade my "testing" version of Kayako to latest build, no error messages in php. Everything seems to be fine.

However I have a few issue.
1) Once I log in instead of going to "dev" version of Kayako I'm somehow redirected into my "live 3.10.00" version.
2) Captcha doesn't show up picture.

Could somebody please help with this?

I'm in circle and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

It sounds like you have your installed url set wrong. You will have to manually adjust it in your database.

Well as you cannot login, you will need to use phpMyAdmin and go into the table named swsettings. You will then need to look at the row named vkey and find general_producturl and see what the data column says here. If it is incorrect, edit it and try to login again.

I've done the changes, delete cache .... but it's still not working. I'm still getting redirected to "live" version.

Strange thing is, the link in browser is showing correct location ..../dev/suppport/ .... however version is showing as 3.10.00

Is this on an internal box or can you post the URL to your dev helpdesk so I can take a look?

The product URL was set wrong. It didn't have the "/dev/" bit in.

Hmm...

Do you mean in swsettings table for the product_url?

I'm sure I've change it. Hmm maybe the change did not go through.

I changed it via the admin cp as I noticed it was wrong. Maybe there is a cache for it somewhere...
