3.11.02 CVS - Decompression Error

I'm trying to install the 3.11.02 CVS upgrade, but when I go to /setup/ it gives me the error:


Fatal error: Decompression error, probably the file is corrupt in /home/username/public_html/includes/functions.php on line 0


I've downloaded the archive twice and uploaded it twice, and am still getting this error.

Any ideas? PHPinfo is on the link to the left of my post.

Hi,

Have you ensured to unpack the archive with something like WinRar or 7zip, and then uploaded the files in binary mode? (Better still, upload the archive to your server in binary mode and untar it on there).

I uploaded it in binary mode, but that didn't work for whatever reason. Uploaded the archive and untarred it on the server, worked like a charm.

I'd like to express my utter disappointment with your live support. Having started the request 10 minutes before posting here, all I managed to do was tell him that I was upgrading from 3.11.01 to 3.11.02 CVS build and he never replied again.
