404 Error on Install - 02-03-2008, 04:30 AM

Hello,

I'm attempting to install eSupport and having trouble. Because this is going to be a dedicated support site, I've installed my files to the public_html/upload directory, so that it should display eSupport at Website Hosting - Mysite.com. I followed all the instructions, but when I try to run www.mysite.com/setup/ or www.mysite.com/setup/index.php, I get a 404 Not Found error. When I try to access www.mysite.com/upload/, I get the following error:

Invalid SQL: SELECT `vkey`, `data` FROM `swregistry` WHERE `vkey` IN('languagecache','usergroupsettingcache','staffa ssigncache','groupassigncache','staffcache','tgrou passigncache','settingscache','tgroupcache'); (Table 'asradmin_kayako.swregistry' doesn't exist)

Any ideas? Thanks!

If the setup directory is showing a 404 error, it has not been uploaded correctly. Try uploading it again and then running it.

The problem is that you have uploaded everything into a folder called upload:
So if you wanted to access your setup directory, you'd have to access:
Was this a mistake? It is not necessary for you to have your supportdesk in a folder called upload. You are meant to upload all the files inside of the upload folder to the directory of your choice.
