Blank Pages

Hi

I have been reading past threads but am still stuck on my install. I have done the following:

1 - Uploaded site via binary
2 - Uploaded key
3 - Chmoded cache & files
4 - created kayako db and user
5 - Moded and uploaded config.php

I go to www.mydomain.co.uk/support/setup/ and i just get a blank page.

From reading past threads I should be checking my php compatibility (4.3.11) and ensuring mbstring is enabled.

I am ensured by my ISP that mbstring is loaded, and i have added the pass enteries into my .htaccess file. Still no love.

What version of SupportSuite are you trying to install? If it is 3.30.02, you need PHP5 to be able to run it.

indeed it is 3.30.02, ok manual said 4.3.x will set about upgrading :-)

Hi Tim,

To 3.20.02, but it is strongly advised you do not do this, because security issues are not retrospectively applied to our builds (and there are security fixes between 3.20.02 and 3.30.02).

Not to mention, PHP4 is itself long into its end-of-life, and is no longer supported by the PHP team. I recommend you upgrade to PHP5.
