Could someone help with our install problems

Hi there,

We've just purchased Support Suite, download our license key and have moved it to our webserver.

http://207.106.214.158/helpdesk/setup/setup.php

Nothing appears when I hit the setup screen, as you'll see.

A few things that may be of help:

We're on Windows 2003 server
http://207.106.214.158/info.php to learn about the PHP environment
I've unzipped the download with WinRar, not Winzip
We moved the files directly to the web server, we did not use FTP (so I'm hoping that gets rid of the binary vs ascii issues, but I have a hunch about this one)
I have correctly edited the config file in the config folder

Any help that anyone could provide would be pretty great at this point.

Hi there,

yup, that's a symptom of being recognized as an ASCII mode file. (Can also tell when going to http://207.106.214.158/helpdesk/setup/ the image doesn't load either so it's not being seen as BINARY)

FTP your install over and you should be good to go!

what version of PHP you using I just did an install on a windows server a week or so ago and installed PHP 5 and got blank page also and contacted kayako and they told me to install version 4.. and then it worked...

Hey Steve,

We're on PHP 5.1.4, and I think that may be the culprit...we're going to try 4.4.2 I think. The binary file seems to have been solved

Before you downgrade. Check what version of Zend Optimizer you have installed. Make sure it is the latest release. I have seen Zend spit blank pages out before when the version is not compatible with the php version..

yeah, we're using the latest Zend Optimizer...just downloaded it yesterday...
