I fully understand the issues with ftp. Although I'm a newbie with kayako. I've been a Unix/Linux administrator for 22 years. The files were uploaded to the server using sftp with no conversion -- as binary files. Once on the server they were tar -xvzf.

Tar is not perfect but it does report issues with a corrupt tar formatted file.

There has to be another explanation for this issue. I've been running kayako for 6 months for 3 different domains with different backends -- on the same system. Never had any issues other than the usual bugs. The reason for my upgrade.

Try re-uploading all the files and re-running the upgrade script. Should work.

I've re-uploaded all the files several times and I've re-ran the upgrade script several times as well except I continue to receive the error

This is what displays at first:

Altering table customfields: (# Of Queries: 1) FAILED
Reason: Duplicate column name 'description'
Altering table chatobjects: (# Of Queries: 1) FAILED
Altering table ticketstatus: (# Of Queries: 1) FAILED
Updating data in ticketstatus: (# Of Queries: 1) FAILED
Version: 3.04.50 (Page 1 of 1)

Have you looked at the database to see if it is correct about there being a Duplicate column, If there is i would advise you delete one and see if that reloves your issue.

Well, there are 133 tables. I did a search for 'description' but thats like finding a needle in a haystack.

That would be the name of the table right there, I believe.

That picture was for 4 match(es) inside table swtemplatedata

However there is 1 match(es) inside table swtemplates

The name of the table is 'customfields' so I don't believe there are multiple tables.

I dont think your looking in the correct place. If you want to provide me with your login information i can take a look for you. My information is in my profile, if not then i suggest you send a ticket to kayako and they will be able to help.

Not to cast any aspersions here, but you really shouldn't give out your cpanel information to just anyone that asks. Up to the member, but it's not a great idea, typically. Kayako staff, your own support people, no worries. Someone who is not Kayako staff is probably not the best idea.
(moderators, testers and skinners are mostly not staff)

SupportSuite Installation Problems - 03-03-2007, 06:50 PM

I successfully installed SupportSuite V. 3.10.00 on my OS X machine. However, once I get to the "License Agreement" setup step I cannot see the "I Agree" button I am supposed to click on in order to go forward with the process. Why can't I see the "I Agree" button?

Check your server error_log for any reported errors.
