Help installing - 09-08-2007, 06:54 PM

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this has been asked loads of times!! Im hosted at powweb.com and followed their instructions to enable Zend and also ioncube.

My problem is that the eSupport installation (http://support.ukfindit.com) says that Zend etc isnt installed? Ive created a phpinfo.php to check and everything looks ok?

Please can someone check the phpinfo and see if it looks ok?

http://support.ukfindit.com/phpinfo.php

Many thanks!!

Hi there,

I cannot see that Zend Optimiser has been installed on the server. Also, I see that you have uploaded the Ioncube encoded version of the software - in this case, you need to install Ioncube (which I also cannot find in your PHP info file).

Make sure that after following the installation steps you restart Apache.

Thanks for the reply.

Ill upload the Zend version now. Ive checked the phpinfo and doesnt it state that Zend is installed? Isnt that the bit that says...

This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2007 Zend Technologies
with Zend Extension Manager v1.0.11, Copyright (c) 2003-2006, by Zend Technologies

The message says:
Quote:
This file was encoded by the Zend Guard. In order to run it, please install the Zend Optimizer (available without charge), version 3.0.0 or later.
You need to install Zend Optimizer 3 or above (yours is 2.6.0.

This usually means that you have not uploaded the files in binary mode (a setting you must make in your FTP client). Also make sure you have not unpacked the files using Windows' own compressed folders unzipper, and have using something like WinRAR or WinZip.

You need to make sure you have completed the following steps:

1) Logged into members.kayako.net
2) Filled in the domain (such as yoursite.com - not www.yoursite.com).
3) Downloaded key.php
4) Pug the key.php into the folder you installed SupportSuite to

This is all described in the Installation manual, by the way (with screenshots).
