Hi Chary, Simple restore your database, upload the 3.30.02 (latest) files, edit and upload config.php (to point to your restored database) and run the upgrade script again. It is not normal an upgrade fails, how did it "fail"? -------------------------------------------------------------------

please help! How to restore the database with PHPMyAdmin? I created the database backup from Kayako, using the default settings (Add “CREATE TABLE” SQL statements and Compress SQL Dump). I got an xxx.sql.gz compressed file. I created a blank database, then tried to import my old Kayako database. I used these setting before importing in phpmyadmin: Character set of the file: utf-8 Partial import [checked] Allow interrupt of import in case script detects it is close to time limit. This might be good way to import large files, however it can break transactions. Number of records(queries) to skip from start: 0 SQL compatibility mode: NONE I got this error during importing: Error SQL query: CREATE TABLE `swkbarticledata` ( `kbarticledataid` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT , `kbarticleid` int( 10 ) unsigned DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL , `contents` mediumtext, PRIMARY KEY ( `kbarticledataid` ) , KEY `kbarticledata1` ( `kbarticleid` ) , KEY `contents` ( `contents` ) ); MySQL said: Documentation #1170 - BLOB/TEXT column 'contents' used in key specification without a key length I use now MySQL 5.0.45-community. However, I installed this old Kayako version on MySQL 4. It seems that there is an error in the database (this is version 3.11.01). | |

Ok, I successfully restored the original database. Then uploaded the files of the latest Kayako version. Then I upgraded the site. The upgrade was successful (no errors). Then I load the home page of Kayako, and it says: eSupport is not installed. Run setup/index.php to install eSupport Why? |
