I installed all the files using binary Cmod cache and files folder now i get this, when I go to the place its installed Fatal error: This encoded file is corrupted. Yeah this isnt going to work As this is not a fresh install that I need to do I am literally transferring files from one host to another and one mysql to another mysql If i use brand new files im going to have to go through the whole setup again which could mess up my mysql file that is there please advise??? |

I would suggest that you drop in a support ticket to have your MySQL restored and see if that works, because the only other way I know to get your password back if you had a back of your MySQL databases before the crash and that will restore your DB's again.

Mazapoint: you can shut the mysql server down, then restart it with a command line flag that tells it to ignore the authentication database (I think it's --skip-grant-tables or something). At that point, you just log in with root and no password, use the mysql database, and update the user table, then restart the database again normally. There are concrete instructions in the MySQL manual. |
