Key file Error? No admin Panel - 31-01-2008, 09:33 PM

Hello,

I am setting up an internal server on our local network. The machine is named "kayako" and the domain is "rcfcuxp.local".

How should my key file be configured? I have tried "kayako" "kayako.rcfcuxp.local" and the IP address, but all of them still display the following red banner at the top:

"ERROR: Domain does not match license key file domain (kayako.rcfcuxp.local), please change the product path to match the domain under Admin CP > Settings > General Settings
This Product will not work properly unless untill that value is changed."

When i originally installed it, I put the domain as "kayako.rcfcuxp.local". Do I need to change that in SQL as well as changing the license file?

Any help would be appreciated. When I try to log into the admin area, it gives me the following errors and then goes immediately back to the login screen:

Using what URL do you access the software?

its internal. I can use http://kayako/support or http://kayako.rcfcuxp.local/support or http://10.x.x.x/support

Heck, I could even make it whatever internal name I want through DNS. The computers fully qualified domain name is "kayako.rcfcuxp.local"

You need to have licenced EVERY domain you wish to access your helpdesk via. Only your licenced domain (listed in members.kayako.net) will work unless you add additional domains via the members area.

You can only use one of the domain. If you use http://kayako/support then you need to generate the license key for "kayako"
