Mail parser does not work after upgrade - 09-06-2008, 01:57 AM

Hi,

I Upgraded eSupport from 3.10? to 3.11.01 and now the mail parser is not working. There have not been any changes to the qmail files.
This is what I did:
1. I uploaded the new files except for config
2. I ran the upgrade script
3. I made sure the cache & files folders were 777 and that the cli/index.php file was 755

But email piping is not working.

What could be wrong?

Make sure the PHP path is correctly set in /cli/index.php

Thanks for the help mate.

This issue nearly killed me.

I asked Kayako support "Are you sure the php path in cli/index.php is correct?" and they said Yes.
I really don't know why Kayako don't put this in the manual, as I asked someone else who had Kayako for help, and they said they had the same issue (and they use a different webhost).

But "#!/usr/bin/php -q" makes the parser work, and "#!/usr/local/bin/php -q" does not work, despite my webhost saying that both "/usr/bin/php" and "/usr/local/bin/php" will work as the path for php.
