php_pspell on 2003 x64

Has anyone been able to get the php_pspell extension working on Server 2003 x64?

The current aspell windows port on aspell.net installs and works fine on x64. I've already converted the dictionary files from Unix to DOS format, and placed the aspell-15.dll and pspell-15.dll files into the %systemroot%\system32 folder.

Even with all this though, following the steps in this forum and elsewhere the php_pspell.dll extension will not load! It keeps reporting "php_pspell.dll" - The specified module could not be found in Unknown on line 0."

I know it's not the ext module itself, tested with other random modules and they load just fine, there must be some problem with the php_pspell extension not finding it's pre-requisits when running on WOW inside a 64 bit machine.

For further info... the IIS install is all configured to use 32 bit extensions running on WOW32x64. Aspell installed into the default path \Program Files (x86)\aspell - and yes already tried copying it to \Program Files\aspell to no avail.

Any suggestions of what to look at next would be most appreciated!
