Unhappy problem since upgrade tu IE7 - 02-01-2007, 02:23 PM

hello guys! how are you? i hope fine


since i have installed ie7, i am having some troubles.. everytime i open a ticket or enter to the tickets area, i get an ie error, wich asks me to continue with the script or not. if i click either on yes or no, the ticket is displayed perfectly, and i can reply to it, but most of the functions that i need such as knowledge base, predefined replies and so does not work at all


i am running esupport v .00.32

I suggest you upgrade to the latest stable build. That will fix the issue. v3.00.32 is not designed to support IE7.

Hi;

The latest stable built does not work. We upgraded and now the chat does not work with any browser.

The stable release has issues with IE 7 and Mac Safari and Firefox.

The CVS release does not work with any browsers.. So if you stay with what you have at least it will work with Windows platform for all browsers except IE 7.

I have tested all of these and none work.. save yourself a lot of headache. There are a million (if not more) posts about this issue all over the forum.

Kami,

You are inconsistent in your findings. You stated back on Dec. 21 that the newest CVS fixed the IE7 problems with SupportSuite, and now you are suggesting that it is still broken.

Hi;

It was working for a short period but then the next update broke it again.

I updated it again this morning and now it appears the following CVS:

Version: 3.04.51 (CVS) - 08 Jan 2007 01:13 AM

works fine.

I tested it with IE 7 and Mac and now it is working. I am not going to do any more updates regardless of the fix considering how flaky things are.

Hope to see the stable release soon. Too tired of fighting this software..

I don't blame you. I have been biting my tongue for a long time with Kayako as well.

Glad to hear that some release is actually working. I may upgrade myself because I simply can't wait for their next stable release when there are serious problems with the last stable release.
