Server Migration and 2.3 to 3 upgrade

Hello,
We are moving our support system to a new server. We would like to upgrade the server hardware and the software at the same time. What is the best way to get our eSupport 2.3 data into the SupportSuite 3 system?

Hi Don,

You need to do a fresh install of v3 on it's own database then run the ImpEX to pull the v2 data across.

So I would copy the v2 database to the new server, do a fresh install of v3 on the new server then run the ImpEX. Once imported you will need to do all your configuration of v3 to the way you want it.
