supportsuit upgradation error

Hi,
we have been having problem with our live response client.
Chats were dropping, reponse clients kept up showing customer session might have expired, etc etc

we were told to upgrade to the latest CVS version.

Now after following all the steps i,m getting stuck in the last step of upgradaion through the web page.
the error i get is the follwoing

Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 2 by reference in /var/www/support/kayako/setup/includes/functions.php on line 409



i'm also attaching the phpinfo with the post. Any suggestions?
The file is encrypted so i can't have a look

plus does any have the solution for our live response problems ?

I was told to make changes in the php.ini file but i still couldn't get the setup to work!
Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.
