Question Test Domain for Upgrade Dry Run? - 08-03-2007, 02:04 PM

I know I have seen this in the forums, but can't find it now..

We want to upgrade from 3.00.90 to 3.10.02.. and I thought somewhere you could have a 2nd domain to install/upgrade - as long as it's on the same server..

So we have it now at: http://support.domain.com and we want to install/test it before we switch it..

Anyone know what the heck I'm talking about...

A license registered for domain.com will not run on support.domain.com. You will have to request a license key domain change in order to do that.

Thx for the reply. It was a confusing post, we already have the lic for http://support.domain.com

What we want to do is install the new upgrade on that "test" domain that I saw somewhere..

Yup that will work but http://test.domain.com or http://www.domain.com/support will not work.
