Upgrade to 3.20.02 from 3.11.01 - 06-08-2008, 07:57 PM

i just want to make sure i can upgrade from version 3.11.01 to 3.20.02 without having any problems.


i have been following the document http://docs.kayako.net/supportsuite/...Manual_PDF.pdf


also just want to make sure my themes are going to stay i did a lot of editing to make it look like my site.

Should i delete the old installation folder before i install the new version?


i already backed up my database.

Where we have made an update to a template between versions, you will have to find and revert these templates back to their original state (this is an easy process and is covered in the manual) - so be sure to back up your templates in case you have to revert some you have edited. You will have to manually reapply these edits if this is the case.

This is not necessary - you can just overwrite your existing files with the new files.

ok i upgraded fine.

but now my email piping settings are not working ??

i guess i have to reset them?

Make sure the php path is set correctly in the new /cli/index.php. I see no other reason why your piping will break.
