Upgrade Install to v3.20.02 - 22-04-2008, 08:46 PM

Currently running the following:

PHP: 4.3.10
MySQL: 4.0.24-nt
Kayako: 3.10.02

We would like to install the new version of Kayako (3.20.02) to run side-by-side to evaluate the new version with a new database and not modify any existing data.

So I have the following questions:

1. Is that possible? If so what is the best way to do that?
2. I tried to upgrade the PHP to v4.4.8, but got an error 'No input file specified'. How is that error fixed? Is it best to upgrade PHP or leave it alone?
3. I would like to upgrade to the latest version of MySQL. What is the best option for that?

Any help is much appreciated.

Yes its possible. Use a seperate database for your test installation and install the evaluation copy in a subdirectory.

I'm having a similar problem.

But when I go to setup my dev version of Kayako I get this message appear No input file specified.

Having problems trying to find an evaluation key so I can install the latest version of Kayako v3.20.02, and run side by side to test out ..

I can see there is an online trial version but I need just a evaluation key.php file ?? Have looked all over the kayako website but haven't found anything.

You can get the key from http://members.kayako.net if you have been given a trial licence.
