| Upgrading from v2.1.1 to v3.00.81 -

Hello,
We are trying to upgrade from v2.1.1 to v3.00.81 and experiencing issues.
Nearly all of our settings can be recreated in the new v3.00.81 installation, but we really need to recover our existing ticket history and we do not seem to be able to do that.
Even though the impex page wants to import from v2.3.5, I went ahead and supplied it with the v2.1.1 database. It worked, for the most part, and imported all of our tickets, users, and departments. However, the _first_ message on every ticket (generally the customers incoming question) is missing from each ticket. All of the subsequent responses are there, but the first message is just not there.
I figured this was because I was working from a v2.1.1 database, so I downloaded v2.3.5 and ran the upgrade PHP script for v2.1 -> v2.3, and it said it successfully modified the database. I tried the import once again with the same result -- the first message on every ticket was still missing.
Any one have any clue on how I can resolve this?
