Question 2 Questions on V3 - POP3 Piping & Email Notifications - 03-01-2006, 07:50 PM

Hey -
i've upgraded to version 3 from 2 - what a change!

Two questions - before, I was piping in the emails by POP/IMAP with the old script. In order for the cron to run, I setup the cron in the Plesk control panel for my vhost, and it looked like this:
php -q -f httpdocs/support/esupport/admin/pop3functions.php ../../ cron

However, the new one /esupport/cron/index.php?_t=parser
doesn't seem to work - if I paste the http:// URL in the browser, it works fine - but the http:// path won't work as the cron in Plesk ... but using the link above won't work either.
(php -q -f httpdocs/support/esupport/cron/index.php?_t=parser ../../ cron)

But - like I said, if I enter http://www.hppchristianhosting.com/s....php?_t=parser into the browser, it correctly logs in and pipes the tickets. But, I'm not getting email notifications (see below)

Can someone tell me exactly what to enter (not in shell, but via Plesk) to make the cron run properly?

ALSO:
Where do I setup "email notifications" for when new tickets are created. In version 2, you chould select which "staff" were to receive automatic email notificatinos when a new ticket was entered or updated, when a ticket was moved, a comment was added, etc. I can't seem to find those settings in V3?

Thanks,
Fred

Hey Ya'll -
Setup email notifications in the StaffCP under Tickets > Alerts
To get the cron working, use the "GET http:// ... " as the cron, and it should work.

Hi,

I've setup alerts in StaffCP > Alerts, i've even ticked every alert, but the only ones i get are a new ticket, and a client reply.
