E-Mail Piping - 01-04-2007, 06:38 PM

Okay look I know how to set this up but i tried everything and it doesnt work.

Here is what i have:
Uploaded the "CLI" Folder in ASCII MODE and CHMODDED TO 755 and then tried uploading it via BINARY and chmodded to 755, But still didnt work.

Reinstalled Zend, Did the php phpinfo.php >phpinfo.htm and on the htm file a whole bunch of text pretty long , didnt show the same thing as phpinfo.php

Maybe thats the issue why email piping cant get working

I have the email set up for forwarders via cPanel and Set up the Mail Queue in Kayako /admin area.

Please help! I will pay you $2.22 via paypal after successful completion
Or if you like to help me free, Thats fine with me

Andrew,

Have you tried CHMODing cli.php to 777? On some PHP configurations (and PHP-as-CGI configurations) this is required.

Hi Andrew, apologies - yes, I mean this file. What is the bounce error you are receiving when you are trying to send an e-mail to the piped e-mail address?

Andrew, are the tickets being piped into your support desk successfully (regardless of whether or not you are receiving an autoresponse)?

Jamie:
No, They aren't being successfully piped to the support desk.

Hi Andrew,

Are you 100% certain there is no bounce message? Have you checked your mail queue logs for such bounces?

If not, then can you paste here the exact line entered for your forwarded?

Thanks,

You need to put that in quotes when entering it into cPanel, so it looks like this:

"|/home/amintyho/public_html/support/cli/index.php"

Try that and see how it goes.

This is very strange. If the e-mail is at all being piped to this file (or not to this file), you should be receiving a bounce message to some address.

I think you should open a support ticket, as this may be a configuration issue and will need a look at.
