Email Parsing/Queues from internal domain - 05-01-2009, 10:14 PM

Hi guys,

We have an owned license running 3.40.01 with the following setup:

Helpdesk: http://support
Public email: supportdesk@ourcompany.com

What I want to do is whenever someone replies to a ticket email, it gets attached to that ticket as a reply (I'm assuming this is what the feature is for).

I'm running Fedora Core 9 with Sendmail, here's the following information:
Code:
/etc/aliases:
support: "|/etc/smrsh/index.php"
I created a symbolic link to /var/www/html/cli/index.php

We are running Exchange 2000 on Windows 2000 Server and plan on upgrading it to Exchange 2003 and Windows 2003 32bit. I know I'm missing something but I cannot tell what it is. The knowledge base doesn't cover such a situation where it isn't support.company.com or company.com/support.

Thanks

ticket # CCV-726632 - 05-01-2009, 10:31 PM

Ticket ID: CCV-726632 Department: Services
Created On: 05 Jan 2009 10:21 AM

I have the same question - did not find it in the forums - when I asked in an online chat when @ the office - I was told to open a ticket.

Did that when I got home...

If I find something I will be sure to update that here...

In short - we want it so that users can reply to the ticket via E-Mail and have it update the ticket.

Not sure how to do that easily - and the directions do not cover this :-(

Thanks for the reply. I also have a ticket open with them about this. I shall post my results. They replied very quickly initially (within 30 minutes) but after I dropped the bombshell of an internal domain they have been silent.

I love Kayako. It's so fun to play around with. Hooray source code.
